I just got back from my trip down south. The Pensacola Art Festival was perfect. I got a great response to my new body of work ~ won the judges choice award and had strong sales.
I am now getting my studio ready for the big show this weekend. I will be post photos of the transformation. My studio is set up for work not a gallery ~ so there is a lot of work to do! I will be ready for the public by Friday morning.

Chuck Solberg loading his wood kiln...
I just finished firing my wood fueled anagama kiln. It takes 2 days to load, 4 days to fire and a week to cool down. This firing we went through 12 cords of wood! It takes a lot of wood to get up to 2600 degrees. There was over 400 pots in the kiln.
I will have lots of great new pots for the 2404 Studio sale.
